Substitutions: be sure to enter if it is OK, or if it is NOT OK, for us to substitute for each fish.
Our Warranty
If something goes wrong, the fish usually survive, but they will be in great danger, if you refuse to accept the package.
If the package is damaged, make a note on the receipt and ask for a copy or a note to document the damage.
Open the box of fish in dim light so the fish are not startled.
If any of the bags of fish are damaged or you see any fish that are dead or look like they are nearly dead, TAKE TWO PICTURES, before you open the bag. Make sure the pictures show the fish, the bag label, and the metal bag clip. Send the pictures to us by email.
If you fail to send us pictures of the UNOPENED BAG within two hours of delivery, this warranty will be void.
Be sure you read our notification about your shipment, be sure you are there to take delivery, and be sure to accept the package.
Then immediately notify us, if there is a problem, send us pictures within two hours to document your problem. It is our philosophy to trust but to verify.

No Minimum Order. Order as many items or as few as you want. We have no minimum order quantities. We want you to get exactly the number of fish that you want.
The Sizes are listed in inches and refer to the total length of that item including the tail, if the item has a tail.
Each size is the size of the item for sale. The picture may show an item of a different size than the item offered for sale. Eventually an item may grow to be bigger, even much bigger.
Our Fish Pictures: This website has lots of pictures of the fish that we offer for sale. Will the fish you get look like the fish in our pictures?
No! This is like buying a kitten or a puppy, that will change as it grows and matures. The fish in almost all of our pictures were young fish like the ones we ship that we raised up, and you can too.
Paying: We accept payment by PayPal, where you can pay in a couple of ways, even if you do not have a PayPal account. If you have a problem with PayPal, call them at 1-888-215-5506, toll free, and repeat the word "agent" until you get to talk to a real live person.
You are also welcome to contact us, but we usually do not know how to solve problems with PayPal.
Shipping Charges are usually $36.99, or $17.99 to Southern California, and are added automatically by our Shopping Bag, where you can see all the charges, before you finalize your order.
The shipping charges are for for one shipment, containing any number of items, sent to one address.
Confirmation Email: After we receive an order, we will email back a confirmation saying we received your order.
Within a couple of days we will schedule a shipping date and notify you with a second email that will contain the shipping date, the delivery company, the estimated time and day of delivery, and a tracking number.
We will also send you some information about how to prepare to receive and acclimate the fish.
Your Email Address: We must have your correct email address, or you will not receive our important emails to you.
From time to time we get an order that contains an old email address that no longer works, and so we cannot reply and confirm the order, which worries us.
Where Do We Ship? We ship to most addresses in the contiguous 48-states in the U.S. and to some addresses in Hawaii and Alaska, but we cannot ship outside the United States.
So we cannot ship to Canada or Puerto Rico. We apologize for any disappointment this causes.
Hawaii? We ship to Hawaii, and all shipments of live fish to Hawaii require a special permit. There is an additional charge of $20.00 to ship to Hawaii.

Alaska? If you are in Anchorage or Fairbanks, Alaska, email us, and we may be able to arrange to safely ship to you during warm weather.
There is an additional charge of $20.00 to ship to Anchorage or Fairbanks in Alaska. We do not ship to other cities in Alaska.
Outside the US? For various reasons beyond our control, we cannot ship outside the U.S., and we do not foresee shipping outside the U.S. in the future.
We apologize for any disappointment this causes people, who live in areas that we do not ship to. In particular this has disappointed people living in Canada, but we are unable to ship to Canada.
Incorrect Address: If you send us an order with an incorrect address, we will charge you an additional $3.00 to change it.
If your incorrect address is not corrected and goes to the shipper, we will be charged $10.00, and we will bill you for that amount. So double-check to be sure your address is correct, BEFORE you make the final click to send us an order.
Your Email Address: Be sure we have your current email address. Sometimes we get orders with an old invalid email address, which means our notification email is returned to us and not delivered.
Your Street Address: The companies that we use to deliver packages will not accept a package from us that is addressed to a Post Office Box, so you must enter a Street Address on your order.
Your Phone Number: The delivery companies also will not accept a package without your phone number to call in case they have trouble finding your street address.
Important: Be sure your order is to a STREET ADDRESS and not a P.O. Box number. The delivery companies want a PHONE NUMBER, where they can call you, in case they have trouble finding your address.
